This is brilliant ILKI, thank you for finding it. As an old timer scribbler myself (78 but fit, happy, balanced, and of sound mind and fixed trousers) I concur with all 10 points and I have many more. I advise my clients to send a letter if it's an emergency, (my father's advice), but if it's 'life & death' - send a telegram!
Few write these days (with a pen and paper, that is) and when I do so, my grandchildren stand by in amazement and ask how I learned to do this trick!
And when I show them how it works and to not end a sentence with a preposition, they want to know what that thing called a 'proposition' is? LOL. They call this 'progress'. I could go on forever but I guess your commenters are getting bored with all this truthyness. (oops - the online dictionary doesn't like that one! It wants me to use an 'i' but has no subtlety at all - like AI, I guess).
I do also Len, eternal lists - my joined-up writing is so appalling which nobody can read anyway, including myself! So likewise I stick to ALL CAPS! :-D

Happy twilight days :-o
Pen and paper. Yes, I still write to-do lists on paper. By writing I mean printing. I print because it's neater and easier to read.
