The following is my reply to a comment at https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/exclusive-i-just-put-the-faa-in-a/comment/12135193
IMO, quantum physics is nonsense, such as "entanglement" of photons or subatomic particles that have collided and then separated, which means they're still "connected" after separating. Nonsense in physics, cosmology, biology, geology, chemistry, archeology, psychology etc has hampered progress in science for over a century and has greatly helped lead to the current pandemic scam. The greedy ruling class has controlled science since at least the late 1800s, just as it has controlled nearly all institutions. Science was started by Nicolas of Cusa, a Catholic cardinal, I think, and his circle of priests, bishops etc, in the mid 1400s via religious Councils etc, based on ideas of commonwealth and Love thy neighbor from the New Testament. So the purpose of science was to improve conditions for the common people. The same circles also started Republicanism for the same purpose, i.e. government of, by and for the people. So I think these came from New Testament philosophy, not Aristotle.
I've also realized for a long time that logic is based on faith, but I figured faith also needs to be based on logic. They need to support each other. That's because we have limited knowledge, so we can't determine perfectly whether each principle of logic is perfectly logical. We can always improve our understanding, but not perfectly. Math is based on logic and people have long been coming up with proofs of each principle of Math, but there are always assumed principles that do not have proofs. Since I don't read such proofs, I can't tell if the proofs are foolproof. But I have faith that most such principles and proofs are true.
I don't subscribe to the conventional Christian view of Faith. The word/s translated as Faith actually seem to mean more precisely Faithful. I think the basic idea is that we can be Faithful to God, because we know God is Love or Caring, so we can totally trust God. I think that's Jesus' message to us and to follow his example. I don't have total Faith in Jesus' physical existence, but I have Faith in the message regardless, because it makes sense, which means it's logical. I have Faith that Jesus probably existed and exists mainly because of the evidence of the Shroud of Turin.
